About

I’m a Lecturer in Writing and Rhetoric and Writing Center Assistant Director at Stony Brook University, from which I will also receive my Ph.D. in Literature in August 2021. My work explores the trajectories of becoming post/human in contemporary neoliberal literature and film. I think about what it means to be human in our current context of globalization, economic disparity and ecological peril. My areas of specialization include Anglophone and world literature, science fiction, posthumanism, neoliberalism, postcolonial ecocriticism, rhetoric and composition, and new media. When I’m not teaching, reading, and writing, I watch Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, play Dungeons & Dragons, and co-host a podcast.
